What is an Agriculture Income Certificate?

It is an official document issued by the Revenue Department certifying income earned from agricultural sources (land cultivation, crops, etc.). It is often required for:

  • Educational fee concessions
  • Scholarships
  • Income proof for loans/subsidies
  • Government schemes

Eligibility Criteria

You must:

  • Be a resident of Andhra Pradesh
  • Own or cultivate agricultural land
  • Have verifiable agricultural income (crop-based or related activity)

Required Documents

Prepare these before applying:

  1. Aadhaar Card
  2. Ration Card (if available)
  3. Pattadar Passbook / Title Deed
  4. Land details (Survey number, extent, crop details)
  5. Mobile number (linked to Aadhaar)
  6. Income details (self-declaration or supporting proof)

Application Methods

Through MeeSeva Center

Visit a nearby MeeSeva Center

Steps:

  1. Request Agriculture Income Certificate service
  2. Submit documents to the operator
  3. Provide land and income details
  4. Pay service fee ~₹45
  5. Receive application number / receipt

Processing time: 7–15 days

Online (Self Application via MeeSeva Portal)

Steps:

  1. Go to MeeSeva Portal
  2. Login/Register with Aadhaar/mobile OTP
  3. Select Revenue Department Services
  4. Choose Agriculture Income Certificate
  5. Fill:
    • Personal details
    • Land details
    • Income estimation
  6. Upload scanned documents
  7. Submit application & pay fee online
  8. Note application ID for tracking

Verification Process

After submission:

  • Village Revenue Officer (VRO) verifies land records
  • Field inspection may happen (if required)
  • Cross-check with revenue database (Webland)
  • Report forwarded to Tahsildar

Final approval is given by Tahsildar

Once approved:

  1. Visit MeeSeva portal
  2. Enter application number
  3. Download PDF certificate

Or collect from MeeSeva center.

  • With field verification: up to 20 days
